Welcome to my website. I am a Scottish composer, arranger and teacher, based in Edinburgh.
My music for choirs is listed here under the following headings:
Many pieces are available for a variety of different voice combinations. For example - unison, 2 part (2nd part optional), SSA (or SAA), SAB, SATB.
In addition, some pieces (mainly in the Christmas category) can also include instrumental parts, which are often optional.
I hope that there are many pieces here which choirs of all kinds, sizes and standards can enjoy singing. In recent years, pieces from this collection have had performances by several choirs. These include - National Youth Choir of Scotland, Royal Scottish National Orchestra Chorus, London Oriana Choir, Cadenza, Hadley Court Singers, Garleton Singers, Stenton Singers, Paisley Philharmonic Choir, Aberdeen Youth Choir, Knox Academy (Haddington), St Margaret's school (Aberdeen).
Every piece is freely available to download and view in pdf format. Each piece is complete, though you will not be able to print out the music. To view these files you will need Acrobat Reader, which can be downloaded free via the link below. Even if you already have a version of the program, you may need to download a more recent version (v.5 or later) in order to view these files. I recommend that you save the files before viewing them. On Internet Explorer, right-click on the link and select “Save Target As…”.
